Fusing classical instruments with contemporary music The Muses are a sensational Electrical String Quartet based in Johannesburg bringing style and sophistication to any performance or event with their breathtaking stage presence and high energy show.

The four gorgeous girls that make up The Muses are all highly trained professional musicians and are vastly experienced in the classical, commercial and corporate industries. They have performed at many high profile events including The Spring Summer 2011 Guess Fashion Show, the launch of BMW 6-series and Mercedes G-Class launch in Namibia. They recently performed to a 2000 strong cheering crowd at the Lusitoland 2011 charity festival and opened for Elvis Blue at The Lyric Theatre, also to a fantastic response. Recent collaborations include performing alongside Elvis Blue, Prime Circle, Ard Matthews, Zolani, Cito and Josie Fields.

The Muses are Violinists Olivia and Mia, Violist Ruby and Cellist Anna, all of whom embody Muses in both their musical prowess and their stylish image. In Greek Mythology the Muses were the goddesses who inspired the creation of literature and the arts and together they played, sang and danced while inspiring others to do the same.

On stage, The Muses give an electrifying performance of exciting numbers and well known classics including remixed versions of Viva, Explosive, Palladio, Storm, Adagio for Strings, Beethoven Virus, Victory, Kashmir, Roxanne Tango and Contradanza. They also offer a laser show with LaserX.
